I dream of creating innovative products that change daily lives.
I am a human factors engineer and product designer with a passion for working through the design process, guided by a deep understanding of human behavior.
I've spent three years supporting human factors research at Apple — one year as an intern on their product design validation team and two more as a contractor — running user studies, collecting anthropometric and qualitative data, and helping shape design decisions that made it into real products.
I hold an MS in Human Factors Engineering from Tufts and a BS in Manufacturing and Design Engineering + BA in Psychology from Northwestern.
Outside of what you see in my portfolio, I am interested in world flag design, sports, and fashion. On campus, I lead organizations such as the National Society of Black Engineers and the Muslim-Cultural Student Association. I also love the work I do with Design for America and our Black Student Union.
